She's human, seems to be in her 50s. Um, and they're kind of having like not a friendly chat, uh, but it seems they are engaging in some kind of small conversation.

So, dealing with this uh Savage A Press character, we're trying to figure out if what he's saying about Mace Window is true, and if not, trying to figure out where he comes from, who sent him that kind of thing. And I thought perhaps we could fight fire with fire, or in this case fight force with force. And I did some digging, and it turns out the Jedi have something in their archives called the Crown of Verity. It's a relic that supposedly even predates the Republic. Allegedly, it provides its wearer with absolute truth. They can't lie, but they also have the ability to discern lies. Ooh. Would be very uh useful in an interrogation context. Uh dibs?

And Illyria, you know about the you've you've heard of the crown of Verity. You've seen it, you've kind of heard it, uh, yeah. You haven't you haven't seen it. The threat is that you don't know what it looks like. So you wouldn't be able to identify it on site. But you have heard of this thing. Uh you know that it is allegedly something that was uh made by or for the magistrates of a planet called Benetaj, and that their culture sort of mysteriously disappeared tens of thousands of years ago, and it eventually made its way into the Jedi Temple. You don't know how though.

And uh he's gone to a planet called Oratera, which is allegedly inhospitable.

Um but we got our own thing going on, so I don't know if that's actually gonna happen. The galaxy may not live to see that, and it doesn't seem like there are any Siths still around.

You can see that like up on one of the mountains, there is a complex of a bunch of different temples that seem to be surrounding what appears to be almost a funnel into the mountain. And the you can't really tell like what the temple is or who built it, because it seems like kind of almost like a jumble of styles. Like maybe many different groups have been here over time, or at least a few different groups. But the vergence that you're being drawn to seems to be this temple, and more specifically, like the funnel in the middle of it that everything's sort of built around.

It'll be a bit of a hike to go up, but you can find a place where there's kind of a, you know, somewhere that doesn't look like it's too overgrown. It doesn't look like anywhere that's gonna have like you're gonna be caught unawares if there's angry native wildlife or anything. So although it's not an ideal place, there is a place kind of near the base of the mountain you can set down.

It seems like there's two main ones, but they are almost clashing, almost like, you know, one's building over top of the other, one the other's building over top of the one. There are certain things that seem to be like two different architectural styles mashed together. So it seems like something something about this temple uh doesn't doesn't seem like just one group had anything to do with this.

But there are there are things that are kind of like, oh yeah, you've seen this at the Jedi Temple, you've seen this uh in your travels, and there's other things where it's like you're not as familiar with it, but what you've seen of like Moraband and the other Sith worlds, it seems like there's like pyramids and upside-down pyramids and like very scythy type architecture that's sort of in there as well. But you don't know if it was uh a slap fight, as you say.

If you wanna get any of those, probably wouldn't be able to get too much, maybe like 400 credits on the black market. There seem to be some uh various swords and sticks and a couple of potentially functional like training lightsabers. If you turn one on, you can see that it does like emit light, but it seems to be a sort of uh like just a holographic blade almost that like you can push your hand through it if you touch it. Like it there's a little bit of give, but it's uh it seems to be mostly like holographic in nature. It doesn't seem to be usable as a weapon.

Their buildings are exposed to the elements. It doesn't seem like they have a huge focus on sort of uh making things look nice and pretty and uniform. It seems like they kind of get things however they can. There there are a lot of like farms around the outskirts of the city, so there is the faint smell of shit everywhere. Of course.

You can see he's this Iktachi, this sort of horned, uh near human humanoid species. And he's got like a lot of like cuts and sort of like almost like tattoos and sculpted detail in his horns. And as you as you enter, there are a ring of twelve, not seats, but like eleven statues that are kind of standing watchfully in a ring. And then uh at the end, sort of on the opposite end from where you come in, is on a sort of raised platform at the head of that ring, uh, a woman wearing these robes that aren't quite Jedi, aren't quite scythy, but aren't quite, you know, either. Like, it's definitely a similar cut and style, but it doesn't seem to have like the malevolence or the sort of poverty cosplay element of the Jedi.
