It's a sector of space known as the centrality. It's a client state of the empire that's um aligned with our interests, but not a member. They weren't part of the Republic either. They're fairly uh libertarian, you might say.

Yeah, so starting off. Illyria, you have heard of the centrality. You got those advantages. Um, so you also know a little bit about what Gray says next. So, first of all, you know that the centrality is, like he said, it's a very libertarian area of space. Uh, it's in the ton sector, kinda on uh the eastern edge of the galaxy, so it's pretty far out there. And you know that they're kind of a loose coalition of like trade and defense agreements. Uh, they don't really have a central governing body. They do have a leader or a central administrator that's known as a scrivener, which is uh it means head writer in the old languages of that sector. And that it's you know that like at least uh during the war, you don't know how it's doing now or before the war, it was kind of uh hit by some plagues, there was some depression, uh it wasn't really doing too well. There was a lot of poverty there. But you got those uh advantages. So Gray continues and he says, Well, although it is just a client state, uh the scrivener, uh fellow by the name of Roker Gepta, has uh allowed the Empire to establish an embassy there. Uh so he may be able to uh help us track down this Jedi. I wanted to talk to you first, because you were the one who brought this Fulcrum thing in, and with the Centrality not being a part of the Empire, uh, if you can butter up this scrivener, uh maybe, and we can find this Jedi, a threat to both the Empire and the Centrality, maybe that could bring them more fully into the fold. They uh don't have uh a lot of resources, but uh they once did, and um Are they struggling? Well, they were they had some tough times, there were some plagues, uh economic depressions, and what have you. But it is a gateway to some uh potentially useful systems that the Empire would like to have uh a more permanent presence in. And Illyria. When he mentions the name of the Scrivener because you got those advantages, Roker Gepta, you've come across that name before. In your sort of search for potential allies to join the Imperial Knights, there was a mention that Professor Ranala was going to do some research into the sorcerers of Tund. And you may have seen his name uh on some of her data pads uh in some way relating to the sorcerers of Tund. It's just two advantages, so you don't know if he's a sorcerer or if he's got one in his in his employ or if there's something else going on. Uh the centrality is in the Tund sector, so uh there is highly likely to be some connection there. But you get the idea that okay, this guy is or is in some way connected to some other force users. You don't know if that means he's uh pro Jedi or anti, though.

So I've made arrangements for the uh Scrivener to have a meeting with the Empire's emissaries. Uh you will present this as a sigil of the realm, and he hands you a uh what looks like just like a little like a medal. Like it's got a carved imperial cogwheel on it. It just kind of looks like a a decorative sort of token. And he says, present this as your sign of office, and uh you should be allowed to uh enter the embassy without too much expense, I hope. Fingers crossed.

Um well, you have clearance to land at the embassy, so you don't need a parking spot necessarily, but you can find that they do charge for a lot of stuff. Uh you get the feeling that you may, if you want to rent a speeder, you may have to charge for that. Uh you can see that uh Erlnar as a planet is kind of dotted with sort of hundreds of thousands of small lakes. So there's a lot of seaside property or lakefront property, and a lot of the transit through the cities is uh kind of monorail based just to sort of bypass all the lakes. And you get the feeling that if you do opt for public transit, you may have to be paying a lot of money hopping from uh train line to train line that's or owned by different companies.

Yeah, you can, once you arrive uh at Erlnar, you see the cities scattered around the lakes. There are no major, like, because of the way the planet is, I guess, uh its geography works, there are no major sort of uh mega cities. It's just kind of a lot of smaller cities dotting these lakes. It does seem very segmented, it does seem very everyone looking out for themselves. It is very libertarian. You kind of get a sense that like every city sort of has its own almost architectural style. As you fly over, you can see that there are some areas that seem slummier. Uh down near the water actually seems to be kind of like run down, and then the further you get from the water, uh, it seems to be more built up, more show-offy, more gaudy, very nouveau reach style buildings, the people who have money, whereas the the poor, you get the sense that you see a lot of boats on the water, so there's like fishers and stuff that are down there doing all the blue-collar stuff, but the Imperial Embassy is one of these new buildings, and it kind of sticks out because it is that sort of uh imperial block gray brutalist style, whereas everybody else that has money is trying to make sure that you know how much they have money. You are able to land, you are met by some imperial bureaucrat or another. They all kinda look the same. And he says, hello, hello, you are the the emissaries from Coruscant. Ah, we sha. Very well. Uh you have arrived uh just just on time. Thank you for being punctual. The scrivenor does uh not abide lateness.

So what kind of vehicle you giving us? Well, look for yourself, and he kind of shows you to a Very crappy and run-down looking speeder that has some Imperial Cogwheel decals applied to it. Probably the best choice, honestly. Yes, it's a pre-war, so uh it's definitely uh seen better days, but it should be enough to get you where you're going. It has uh our sigil on it, so you shouldn't be messed with. You shouldn't need uh protection or anything. Usually the local militias leave us alone.
