Rebel spaceships striking from a hidden base are preparing for their first strike against the evil galactic empire. During a clandestine mission, rebel spies managed to steal secret data about the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. With a small group of allies, the Empire Wreckers race towards the construction site at Geonosis, custodian of technology that can destroy the Emperor and restore freedom to the galaxy. So, since your last uh episode, since last time, you would have timed things so that you were able to uh coincide your journey with that of the Emperors, which would have given you time to uh collect and set into motion anything that you may need or may have wanted to do. Currently, uh, you are on board the light cruiser. Uh, but prior to that, Kala would have had her leg replaced.

So before you left, you can take you can have taken Kala down into the the medical facilities of this uh underground city on Alishan where you've been making your base. I don't think you've really explored it all that thoroughly. It's a pretty big underground city. And they were doing a lot of odd scientific experimentation.

Yeah, they got medical labs. Like it was a scientific outpost where people were doing a regrow your leg.

Yeah, they're gonna parasite on the end of it like that. It won't be ready until you actually get to geonosis. It still needs some time to bake. But you can bring along a leg in like a vat that is that is growing. The uh outer layers of skin are still being stitched together, but uh you could potentially uh on the trip attach a clone of Kala's leg.

Yeah. Uh ooh, I'm like, should we bring Grey? Because Grey would have uh be able to talk the Imperial talk if we needed help uh bullshitting. But also, if this if this does end up being a suicide mission, we will need someone to run the base.

Yeah, so before before you left, uh Grey would have outlined the plan that he and the others came up with. And the plan is thus, and based on that, you can maybe decide who else you want to bring. There are any other external forces that you might want to get involved for whatever reason. Yeah. So basically, what Grey laid out to you before you left was that they have the schedule for the Emperor's next inspection. He's gonna be arriving to Geonosis aboard his flagship, the ISS Majestic, the Star Destroyer, which will dock with the skeletal superstructure of the battle station. From there, his itinerary is to board a shuttle and take a guided tour of the superstructure.

So Breaker has analyzed Moth Loam's code cylinder and is able to generate up-to-date encryption algorithms for uh the Light Cruiser's IFF. It is going to be borrowing the registry of a cruiser called the Shirak. And in order to transmit the signal using Breaker's equipment, you need to be within the superstructure itself. A short-range burst is gonna be harder to detect than something that you're casting across the entire Imperial fleet that's there. And since all of the construction vehicles are working on the Death Star, doing it from inside is probably gonna give you the best chance of not being detected. So you're gonna have to fly into the under construction Death Star.

And so that's the signal to make it like crash down into the planet, into Geonosis.

To take over the construction vehicles, and then from there you give it the whatever orders you want.

Um, because Imperial Shuttles are they're made by a different company, Cygnus Spaceworks. You might, depending on Breaker, how good Breaker's equipment is, um, because Star Destroyers are KDY.

Maybe Star Destroyers you might be able to affect, but they are also a lot more robust in terms of like resisting electronic attacks.

Mm-hmm. Because, like, okay, so we have to bring Breaker to actually initiate this thing. Um, I I can fly the ship, that's no problem.

And would I guess in terms of the timing as well, Gray uh would have made a couple of suggestions. So you kind of have two options. Number one is to kick this thing off once Palpatine's Star Destroyer is docked with the Death Star. Yeah. It takes a long time for a Star Destroyer to dock and undock with the space station. There's a lot of metal clamps and stuff. So the Star Destroyer might not be able to escape before the station enters Freefall, but there are also a lot of escape pods and shuttles aboard. Option two is to wait until Palpatine is in his tour shuttle and hope that the station as it falls crashes into him and destroys him.

Option two A. Okay. Standard Imperial procedure, Palpatine's shuttle will have an escort of two TIE fighters. The Imperial Light cruiser has three TIE fighters docked aboard it. Theoretically, you could take those ties out and try to destroy Palpatine's shuttle uh just on its own.

Yeah, if it's a if it's a committed power, then that's yeah, you can do absolutely don't have to focus on it. The other thing is, even though you have the IFF codes, the Shirak is not supposed to be there, the ship you're pretending to be, so you will need to sweet talk the Empire once you arrive. That's okay.

And Gray also warns uh that once things pop off, the Empire is going to identify the ship as the source of the signal. Standard Imperial procedure is to do a boarding first to recover the cruiser and identify what technology was being used to uh take over the construction vehicles. So the light cruiser will most likely be boarded.

But once they realize who you are, they will probably switch to just uh destruction. And Gray uh he doesn't say it, but it is very obvious that in the plan that Gray and everybody else came up with, they do not have a plan to get you guys out.

Well then like, cause as far as like having on the ship for if/slash when stormtroopers board, like maybe it'd be a good idea if there's like any of our Jedi people who would want to come to assist with like holding the ship, so to speak, and like So you did mention Palpatine.

I know that's not ideal. I know there's gonna be like regular people going on those, but like, may like if we don't get him bringing down the station, like make sure he doesn't get out, basically. You know? I feel like we should at least try to cash this in, because that's kind of the whole point.
